Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the ADA Amendments Act (ADAAA)
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act, known as the ADAAA, are federal laws that prohibit employers with 15 or more employees from discriminating against applicants and individuals with disabilities and that when needed provide reasonable accommodations to applicants and employees who are qualified for a job, with or without reasonable accommodations, so that they may perform the essential job duties of the position.

Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA)
The Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994 (USERRA) is a Federal law that establishes rights and responsibilities for uniformed Service members and their civilian employers. The law is intended to encourage non-career uniformed service so the United States can enjoy the protection of those Services, staffed by qualified people, while maintaining a balance with the needs of private and public employers who also depend on these same individuals.
Under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), our company is required to grant an unpaid military leave of absence to any employee who requests such leave in order to perform service in the uniformed services. It is the policy of our company to comply with USERRA and all other state, federal , and local laws. In case of any conflicts between this policy and federal, state, or local laws, such applicable laws shall control, subject to conflict of laws principles.
MaximuM Comics will provide employees on uniformed service leave the same benefits provided to employees on comparable leaves. These include reemploying eligible servicemembers promptly and reemploying eligible servicemembers in the appropriate position and at the appropriate rate of pay, benefits and seniority. In certain cases, MaximuM Comics will provide training that allows an employee to qualify for reinstatement.
